FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are you?

Lavish Blade is operated by Lavish Blade Limited, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16619778), which is the seller for all orders. Our US stock, fulfillment and returns are run by Lavish Blade LLC, registered in Florida (Document No. L25000418469). Both registrations are public and verifiable.

Where do you ship from?

All US orders ship from our fulfillment center in New Caney, Texas — so you get domestic delivery times and free standard shipping.

Where are your blades made?

Our blades are hand-forged by our smiths in Wazirabad, Pakistan, a region with a blade-smithing tradition going back generations. Finished pieces are imported and stocked at our Texas warehouse.

Are your blades really handmade?

Yes — every piece is hand-forged and hand-finished. Damascus patterns are unique to each blade, so yours will never be identical to another.

Do you offer engraving?

Yes, custom engraving is available on most pieces and is done before shipping. See our Engraving page for details.

Can you make a custom design?

Absolutely — custom orders are one of our favorite things to build. Start on our Custom Orders page.

Why does my blade arrive oily?

High-carbon Damascus steel is shipped with a light coat of protective oil so it arrives rust-free. Simply wipe it down (or wash kitchen blades) before first use — and see our Knife Care Guide to keep it looking forged-yesterday.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes — see our Wholesale page.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes, you must be 18 or older to purchase. See Age & Shipping Restrictions.
